Some
seem to think Die Form are a rcently formed band when in fact Philippe
Fichot has been making music since 1980. The big difference came when,
in the 90s, he started using Eliane's vocals and finally aquired a larger
audience. I can't honestly say that Die Form's music is and has always
been exceptional but over the years Philippe managed to write several
killer tracks. Now that Hyperium has changed name and musical genre
and Die Form have no steady label, Trinity Records has released a 2CD
anthology which is more complete than the one published some time ago
by Cleopatra Records. If you're new to Die Form, this anthology is a
good way to approach their music, especially since most of their back
catalogue is out of print.
