Jo Conjaerts was born in Herleen (NL) in 12-12-1941. He studied Horn, Trombone and Percussions at the conservatory of Maastricht and also took a degree in Didactic and Pedagogy of music.
He took a degree in wind band and brass band conducting and later on a degree in professional orchestra conducting.
since a long time he is the professor of conducting at the Musikhochshule of Maastricht and he is frequently invited as guest conductor in many countries like Belgium, Italy, Czech Republich, Poland ,Latvia, Austria and Germany.
He is member of competitions, both in Netherlands and abroad. From 1978 to 1998 he has been member of the commission and of the artistic direction of then World Competition of Music of Kerkrade, Netherlands.
He is a delegate of the CISM and the conductor of eminent wind bands and brass bands of the Netherlands and Belgium.




Dominique Brunet was born on 1970. He started his musical studies with Michel Delage at the National Music School of Niort and then with Eric Aubier in Mountreil, where he wins a gold medal for chamber music and a gold medal for trumpet in 1990. In the same year he has been admitted at the National Music Conservatorium in Paris, with the teacher Antoine Curé, where he wins a first prize in chamber music in 1992 and a first prize in trumpet in 1993. He has attended the master class of Bo Nilson and Sir Philipp Jones.
He took his degree in 1989 at the National Competition for musical interpretation at Lyon's Club. In 1991 he wins the first prize at the European Competition ";Maurice André". With the national diploma of "professor", since 1992 he teaches at the Musical Conservatorium in Ville de Paris. He is member of the Brass Quintet and of the Big Brass ensemble of Radio France. He performs in concerts with piano and organ and regularly plays as solo with orchestras. As orchestral musician, he plays with the orchestra of Opera Bastille, the orchestra of Opera Garnier, the orchestra of Opera of Paris and the Ensemble Intercontemporain. Since 1994 he is solo trumpet at the Orchestra "Du Capitol" of Tolosa. Since 1997 he his second solo trumpet at the National Orchestra of France.




Lucio Dosso, born in Rome, has studied with the teacher Sergio Notaro; he debuted in Rome at the Teatro delle Belle Arti in 1978. From 1979 and 1987 he attend specialisation seminars, in Italy and abroad, with some of the most important guitar players (Manuel Barrueco, Leo Brouwer, Alirio Diaz, Oscar Ghiglia, José Luis Rodrigo e José Tomas). In 1987 he is the assistant of Manuel Barrueco in the 5th Corso Magistrale di Alto Perfezionamento in Rome and assistant of Leo Brouwer in the 4th Scandinavian Guitar Festival of Karis (Finland). Between 1987 and 1989 he received three important 1st prizes: Concorso Internazionale "Fernando Sor" in Rome; "Premio Ramirez" of the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain); the prestigious Competition "Andres Segovia" in El Escorial, Madrid.
Since 1978 he has played in many countries: Italy, Spain, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Austria, Turkey, Israel and United States. Many important institutions have invited him to play._Among them we find: Concerti Estivi dell'Accademia Nazionale Santa Cecilia di Roma, Festival Internacional de Musica da Camera de Segovia (Spain), Festival di TelAviv (Israel), Festival Internazionale di Lagonegro, 5° Festival Internazionale della Chitarra at the Teatro Ghione in Rome, Festival di Ulricehamn and International Guitar Festival in Stoccolma (Sweden). Some of his concerts have been performed in important auditoriums and theatres: Sala dei Concerti in Palace Rasumofsk in Wien, Rebecca Crown Auditorium in Jerusalem Teatro delle arti and Teatro Ghione in Rome, Auditorium della Fondazione "Juan March" in Madrid, O'Donnel Auditorium in Dallas, Teatro Rendano in Cosenza, Tapiola Auditorium in Espoo (Finland), Tubitak Concert Hal in Ankara, Musikmuseet Konzerthalle in Stockholm. 
His repertoire comprises the most important works in the guitar repertoire and all the Studi and Preludi by Heitor Villa Lobos, Canzoni Popolari Catalane by Miguel Llobet and the Studi and Sonate by Fernando Sor.
Young composers have dedicated their work to him. His chamber music repertoire is dedicated to programs for singers and guitar with works by Britten, Brahms, Da Falla, Schubert.
He has taught in specialisation seminars in Italy, Sweden, Finlandia, Turcky and he has been teacher at the Academy of High Studies "I. Mirkovic" in Croatia. Radio Vaticana, France Musique, Spanish Television and National Finnish Radio have broadcast his concerts.
He has recorded two CDs: the first with all the Sonatas by F. Sor and the second with the works of Catalan authors, among them the Canzoni Popolari Catalane by M. Llobet and the Fantasia-Sonata by J. Manen.



Klaus Duftschmid was born on January 31st, 1963 in Linz/ Upper Austria and lives now near Vöcklabruck. He studied Trumpet at the Bruckner Conservatori in Linz, where he took his Diploma in 1991). He also studied English and Music at the Teacher´s Training College in Linz. He won the First prizes on the Trumpet at Prima la Musica and from 1985 to 1986 he has been member of the Military Orchestra in Linz. In 1986 he took the Conducting Exam from the Upper Austrian Brass and Wind Association in Linz.
He has been member of the Upper Austian Brass- and Wind Orchestra under the conducting of Franz Welser- Möst.
Since 1988 he is the conductor of the Township- Band of Vöcklabruck.
He attended the master classes of Robert M. Gifford and since 1998 studies at Maastricht Highschool with professor Jo Conjaerts.




David Giovanni Leonardi has studied Humanities in the High School and Piano in the Conservatory "J. Tomadini" in Udine with the teachers Fabio Nieder and Nino Gardi, taking his Diploma on 1988. From 19985 and 1989 he attended the School of Palaeography and Musical Philology at the University of Pavia. Since 1989 he presents concerts, making introductions to them and publishing monographic studies on programs and historical papers. Since 1990 ha attends for two years piano studies and chamber music with eminent teachers. From 1990 and 1993 he receives many prizes for Chamber Music (duo Piano-Cello) and in the following years he played for CDs: "Giovanni Bottesini. Opere per Contrabbasso e Pianoforte" e "Quella fiamma-18th Century Italian Arias for Double bass and Piano", published by the Rivo Alto Electra.
For two years he has been invited as official piano accompanist at the International Seminars for musical Interpretation and Specialisation at the Academy "Jacopo Napoli" in Cava de' Tirreni (Salerno). From 1990 to 1996 he deepens the Romantic and Contemporary Repertoire for Clarinet, Violin, Cello and piano. He plays in Slovenia, Croazia, Cuba; he is part of the ensemble "Paul Klee Ensemble" and he is the promoter of the instrumental Ensemble "Allegro Barbaro". Since 1996 he is the official piano accompanist of the "International Competition for Chamber Chorus C. A. Seghizzi" in Gorizia. His most recent work is dedicated to the repertoire for chamber groups, as the duo Accordion-Piano. With this ensemble he has been awarded with the first prize at the National Competition "G. Bortoli" in Chiuppano (Vi). Moreover he has started a new musical experience, arranging and transcribing, classical music and the Tangos of Piazzolla for the duo Accordion-Piano. He works even with singers for the vocal chamber music, playing a huge repertoire: Italian, French, German, English, Spanish, Russian and Slovenian. He has been called many times as member of juries in Competitions for Composition and Performance. 
The Municipality of Udine has asked him to write the programs and three Historical Essays, published on the review "Il Giornale del Teatro Nuovo Giovanni da Udine" in occasion of the Musical Season 1998-1999.
Recently he has started to work as freelance for the newspapers "Messaggero Veneto" and "La Vita Cattolica" as musical critic.




Mauro Pedron graduated in clarinet at the Conservatory of Trento with honours and specialized at the Accademia Chigiana.
He played along with the Chamber Orchestra of Padua, the Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano, the Solisti Veneti and with the Festival Orchestraos of Brescia and Bergamo as First and Solo Clarinet.
He also played as solo clarinet with the Rumenian Orchestra, with the Chamber Orchestra of Losane and with th Chamber Orchestra of Bologna which recorded with him the Concert for Clarinrt and Cello by Marco Tutino with Giovanni Sollima for the label Ermitage.
In November '99 he played as solo clarinet with the foundation Arena di Verona in the opera "Dylan Dog", with music of M. Tutino. He recorded chamber music and pieces for solo clarinet with the labels Ricordi, CGD, AS, Velut luna and PM and also for the Italian, Portuguese and France radio and television.he committed himself to the chamber and contemporary music of composers like Sciarrino, Donatoni, Berio, Tutino, Lucchetti, Testoni, Galante and Vacchi
He frequentely plays premières of pieces dedicated to him. He has been cooperating teacher at the Lyric Theatre of Alessandria, Artistic Director of the chember group of the Accademia Filarmonica Trentina, teacher at the specialization courses in Mezzolombardo, Lasino, Chiusi della Verna, denno and Spilimbergo.
His temper led him towards the creation of new ways of expression for the classic music and to the creation of links with the theatre (he created with Giuseppe Caderna an opera dedicated to W.A.Mozart) and the others fields of art. For this reason he founded the group Kamera that plays Modern American music and Eeuropean border music (national premieres of Steve Reich, James Mc Millian, John Harbison and Irvig Fin).
The CD Kamera in Rock of 1998 comprise some of his pieces. With the same idea he invented the International Festival "I suoni delle Dolomiti" (Sounds of the Dolomits).
He is a member of the ensemble " Novecento e oltre",conducted by Antonio Ballista (concerts in the main chamber seasons: La Scala of Milan, Società del Quartetto, Santa Cecilia in Rome, Friends of Music of Palermo, Biennale Musica of Venice, Unione musicale of Turin, September music of Turin, IUC Rome, Friends of Music of Perugia, Teatro Comunale of Modena, Ente Concerti of Pesaro, Società dei concerti of Trieste, Friends of music of Padua,Società Aquilana) and also of the Europa Solist Chamber Ensamble.
He plays in a trio with Mario Brunello and Antonio Ballista and with Danilo Rossi and Stefano Bezzicchieri and in a duet with Andrea Dindo.
He is the teacher of clarinet at the conservatory of Trento.



Jan Willems is born in The Netherlands in 1952. He has been solo clarinet and instructor for clarinets in the famous wind orchestra "Echo van der Kempen" of Bergeijk (NL) where he played since he was 7 until he left for Germany in 1982. He studied under Piet Stalmeier, Dirk Koster and Jo Conjaerts, who encouraged him to start conducting.
He now lives and works as arranger for wind band near Stuttgart. His works are published in The Netherlands, Germany and Austria. He conducts several wind bands and he is involved in teaching woodwinds. Presently he is the Music Director of the "Stadtkappelle Gossbottwar".
