 The slag is completely disposed of in a complex thermo-chemical cycle or, when possible, recycled in the recovery of raw materials.

The legislative decree 22/97 classifies the following types of waste from agricultural, industrial, artisan, commercial and service activities operating in the following sectors under the CER code:
  • agricoltural, wood and textile
  • organic, inorganic, pharmaceutical and oils and fats processing industry
  • surface treatment of metals and plastics
  • photographical, ceramics, publishing industry
  • precious metal manufacture
  • services to persons and animals
  • commercial in general
