1st INTERNATIONAL SARDINIAN ROTARACT MEETING

CAGLIARI - 28 April / 1 May 2000

Imagine a place where the spring dawn and sunset are magic, where the sky seems to compete with the intensely blue-coloured sea in producing always new and wonderful shadows.

Imagine the delicate hues of a carpet of flowers beneath the branches of a thousand-year-old tree or the long trail of flamingos who, year after year choose this land to build their nest.

A place where man left his trace since the 3rd millennium B.C. and built unique structures such as the "nuraghe"; a place where culture has deep roots in history and Internet has become a bridge to the future (the first freely readable Internet newspaper in the world was launched here).

Where you can taste thousands of delights and smell the fragrances of the Mediterranean Sea.

Where the population is hospitable and friendly and a group of Rotaractors is looking forward to hosting you.
