INTERACTIVE MEDIA takes its origin from the competence acquired in the organization of a three-year teacher refreshing course (1996-1999) on 'the use of multimedia in the classroom' which was addressed to all the teachers in Distretto 34, 35, 36.
The course, headed by the school headmaster Mr.
Santo Giovanni Torrisi , put into evidence the abilities of the teachers- most of whom are
still working in this school - and of the students who had been trained during the
laboratory of Image Education which has been organized in the school since 1994.
To this experience we have to add the projects carried out in the co-ordinate school in
Francavilla di Sicilia:
1. Study on the Convento dei Cappuccini
2. Study on the Kuba in Castiglione di Sicilia.
3. Research on the Greeck
archeology in Francavilla di Sicilia.
And in the main school in S.Teresa di Riva
1. Research on the history and architecture of the Towers and Castles situated in the area
ranging from Scaletta to Capo Sant'Alessio.
2. Study on the Chiesa di SS: Pietro e Paolo d'Agrņ.
