EF Site: Football and Rugby

Hi, we are two Italian students, Cristian and Roberto.
 We come from Seriate, a small town near
Bergamo. We attend a high school for computer science
engineers.

We have made this site to participate in the
international competition called 'Spreadtheword'. The
site is about football (soccer), rugby and other
sports at school. We put some questions in the 'Topic
Talk', but we didn't receive any answers,
unfortunately!

Soccer is very spread in our country; in fact, Italian
clubs are very well known all over the world. The most
important clubs in Italy are AC Milan, Inter Milan and
Juventus. These clubs have won a lot of cups in Europe
and in the world.

On the contrary, rugby isn't very popular in Italy,
although it is in many parts of the world, especially
in New Zealand, Australia and Great Britain. We know
that every two years there is a World Cup match. In
Europe, each year, there is a 'six nation' tournament
in which England, Wales, Scotland, Eire and Italy take
part. Last year it was won by England.

We tried to get information and get in touch with
colleges to know more about their sports, but it was
quite difficult in the time given for the competition.
If any students from overseas could help us and give
us more information about their school sports, we
would be very grateful!
