GROUP ON REAL-TIME CONTROL OF URBAN DRAINAGE SYSTEMS (RTCUDS) 

 

GENERAL STATUTES  

 

OBJECTIVES
To promote the appropriate and beneficial use of Real Time Control in Urban Drainage Systems, disseminating information about procedures, coordinating researches and developing activities related to system design, operation, rehabilitation, maintenance and control. Intent of the group is to bridge the gap between the actual available technology and its use in urban drainage systems.

OUTLINE PROGRAMME OF WORK

  1. Organise specialised conferences, meetings and technical sessions at international conferences and seminars.
  2. Develop and support international workshops and courses on RTC.
  3. Disseminate information via RTCUSD home page.
  4. Write reports and manuals on RTC.
  5. Organise a network of experts and some support for the peer review of projects.

MEMBERSHIP OF RTC WG
Open to all IWA members and appropriate IAHR members. The WG will comprise members who are actively involved in some aspect of Real Time Control of Urban Drainage Systems.

MEETINGS
At least annually, in association with conferences or specialist meetings.
