The Radio Club " Tre Torri ", joins some persons who have let to since capture from the radio waves of the Citizen' s Band 1981. It's one of present Clubs C.B. in Polesine (zone identified with the province of Rovigo) situated between the rivers of the Adige and the Po.

Where we are

Badia Polesine is found in province of Rovigo, in the Polesine High. The denomination, as is obvious, has had origin from the Abbey of the Vangadizza (century X). Elevated to the degree of cities of the 7 May 1817 from the emperor Francisco of Austria, was called Badia Polesine with Regal Decree of the 7 July 1877. The ancient center along on a residual one of embankment back, to shape of arc, between the Adige and the Adigetto. In the Middle Ages it exercised a its role of primary importance on a much extended zone, especially in the field of the communications and the commerce on the Adige river. The main monuments that the damage a precise face is: - the Arcipretale Church erected in 1761, dedicated to Saint John Batiste; - the Palace of the Common one ; - the so-called Palace of the Estensi ones, in truth Palace Gradenigo; - The Social Theatre; - Palace Baccaglini; - Palace Rosini; - Palace Miotto or Bassi; - the Church of the Our Lady of the Health; - Villa Pellegrini to Salvaterra. Of ancient monuments and that is Marchesane Towers, Fortifications, Castle ... does not remain some trace. All it was demolished from the Veneziane Authorities and the material was used in the fortifications of Legnago (VR). Remains instead good part of the Monastery of the Vangadizza that was until the 1800 cultural and religious fulcrum of Badia Polesine.

A little History of the Radio Club " Tre Torri " (Three Towers)

" Still in far away the 1975 (year more, year less), they are interested to me to those aluminium rods of some meter of height that dulled from the roofs of the houses, over the heavy motors vehicle or means. Made curious churches to a friend, already expert in matter, explanations and answered to me that transceiver radios were be a matter of apparatuses. I remained endured fascinated (I was other years of better frequency), I made also I acquire it of this equipment. In the meantime, I found other friends with the same passion and we decided of subscript to a Club. After some time I proposed to institute an our Club of amateur of a radio in Badia Polesine and therefore was. To the beginning of year 1981 we found in fifteen or so friends and borned Club C.B. "Tre Torri", symbol of the city of Badia Polesine. Endured we were without a fixed center, then with the aid of the Common one, we have arranged and today (1991 n.d.r.) we can be satisfied is of our equipment is of the many acquired friends.

Question: the scope of this Club, or Group, which is?

Answer: in the first place the thing more important be the friendship and the possibility to know a lot other friend (also via ether) in all the part of the World (this be a hobby), then of be always to disposition in case of calamity natural be the Club, enrolled to the Service Emergency Radio and to the Protection Civil and, sometimes, make attendance radio to the several manifestation sport, without scope of lucre.
