Il PowerMacintosh 7300 sostituiva il 7200 e acquisiva le caratteristiche più importanti del 7600; la CPU era su scheda asportabile per poterla aggiornare. Non c'é possibilità di uscita video a meno di schede aggiuntive,non ci sono jacks RCA stereo .
Il Sistema ha un doppio Bus SCSI e un disco da 2 GB sulla Fast SCSI interna.
