WHAT IS MED e MED ONLUS

The Mediterranean, a sea in the middle of the earth,from Azov to the Alboran sea rapresents the centre of an ancient culture.  Today it is possible to show the rich national, technological and cultural development.  Its geographical position has allowed those who have gone before them, to move around the earth from their place of origin allowing them to maintain contact with their home-land and by so doing increasing  their knowledge, culture and commercial exchange. Promoting  different  scientific acquisitions,  particularly artistical and medical.

Incessant evolution  from so many different national realities  and from the civilization that have developed  around the Mediterranean  sea and has continued to  enrich the cultural patrimony of its variegated population.

Each manifestation of man is ingenious, from the arts to the sciences, from politics to economics and from the development of illness to its cure, to the well being which has been found in the various towns and cites of the Mediterranean. The common natural origin, the highest expression of voluntary and the best realization form in the research  has characterized  the introduction and the purpose of MED e MED ONLUS.

MED e MED ONLUS participates  in the wonderful universal patrimony  of medical science and humanitarian assistance. It is determined not to be lost in the jungle of medical research, but intends to invest in the young generation in order that they study attentively, respect and develop together.

MED e MED ONLUS  favours  a close support system, without revendication and prejudice with the governamental institutes, the cultural associations and the medical organizations of different countries to realise a better way of life before giving birth and from childhood  to old age in the spirit of a more sincere voluntary service towards the need for an immediate and continuos evolution.

MED e MED ONLUS, in order to arrive at its objective, uses all types of contribution, both human and technicological progress, expecially through the creation of a computer support for a  complete International  Net System   for Telemedicine in general sense, but in particular: Teleformation,  Teleconsulting and Telassistance.

Humanitarian and health assistance, not only in traditional sense and in according with  all  National  and International Partners and Associations, but Tele assistance  above all, with the creation of many focal points and  a connection to the Internet Network beginning at an elementary level and working up, involving a great number of tecnicians and all the people living around the Mediterranean area.
