In the darkness of the night

In the darkness of the night And the calmness of the woods In my cottage I slept Dreaming of all happy days

Outside my window A bird was singing A song of joy i guess

I opened my eyes To find a rose Lying on my hair

And I wondered if it is you !?

Towards the door I walked Beams of light sneaking in While I opened the door To find a candle And beams of hope

I wonderd if it is you !?

From a distance I heard the music of lullaby

I wonderd if it is you !?

To the seashore I ran On top of the old rock I called your name Again The space only the space Echoed the name

Helplessly tears Dropped down The rosy cheeks After hope was gone

A ship passing by Echoed the name Again and again But someone Echoed my name

A sailor waved to me Called my name Again and again

It was you No doubt you My heart called your name My eyes hugged yours My soul was warmed By you. ..And only You.

A knocking on the door !!!! Voice calling my name !! "Time to wake up, Dear, It is only a dream"

But.. There was a bird And arose to his side And a candle in a night

Was it all a dream !!!!!???? Only a dream..?

Oh..the bird is away far And the rose is dead And the light is gone

All had vanished.. You were only In my dreams Cause it is only A lonely dream
