WHO WE ARE & WHAT WE DO

The Academy of Magical Cats  was established by a group of artists, intellectuals and scientists who love cats. People who consider cats as friends, companions and as the inspiration for their work and life. The Academy is an indipendent non-profit making organization, whose goal is to propagate man's knowledge of cats, animals who have been witnesses and the inspiration of Art and Civilisations.

 The Academy of Magical Cats is the first and the only society of its kind in Italy and abroad. It offers an important meeting point for men and women of various culture and ideas, who like the cat, identify themselves with the supreme values of Beauty, Creativity and Liberty.The Academy is also open to those who consider the cat to be a magical presence in human life - those who consider it a wonderful companion, a medium for creativity - and who want to understand and deepen their knowledge of Cat culture "for the sake of beauty, knowledge and pleasure" as Lorenzo de Medici stated
