I tried today to plug in a 80Gb harddrive to this board and patched both award beta bios 2A59GL1C.BIN and original f11.bin with Petr Soucek's 32Gb & 64Gb bugfix http://www.ryston.cz/petr/bios/. But those bioses also has the 8Gb bug so some programs read the disk as 8192Mb from bios...

Ok so I tried to find a similar board with i430VX and UMC8669 and found Shuttle HOT-555 with UMC I/O, flashed my LS 5I-VX2 board with latest Shuttle HOT-555 128Gb patched bios from Rainbow http://wims.rainbow-software.org/rainbow/Shuttle%20HOT-555%20UMC.zip and the board works great!!! Seems to be almost the same bios code, but better
