How to update Motherboards BIOS PC-CHIPS

1. Check to see what type of flash chip you have in your Mb. There are two types of flash memory, Large Block and Small Block. We label them as "L" or "S" respectively. When you first turn the computer on. The screen will show the BIOS date code and a letter with "L" or "S".
2. Down load the right type of BIOS according to what type of flash chip you got in your MB.
3. Down load the right BIOS flash utilities.
4. Make sure the Voltage on the flash chip were set to 12V on your Mb
5. Make a clean Bootable Disk that has no config.sys and autoexec.bat file. Copy BIOS file and Flash Utility to the floppy.
6. Put this bootable diskette in drive A: and boot the system into A:>
7 Run award or AMI flash utility to flash the bios.
