The fish market
In genere inizia molto presto al mattino (mi sono alzato
verso le 5)... le barche arrivano dal mare
risalendo il fiume, e le venditrici comprano il pesce
dai pescatori per rivenderlo al dettaglio sul molo.
It usually begins very early in
the morning (arounf 5 o'clock am)... fisherman came from the sea
flowing upstream the river untile
the small harbour of Hoy An. Female saleswoman (I never saw
a man doing this job) bought the
fish as a sort of whole salers and sold it to the public during the
morning.
Fa molto caldo e per conservare il pesce si utilizza il
ghiaccio, che opportunamente tritato viene venduto da
un addetto alle donne che vendono il pesce per pochi
Dong.
The climate was extremely hot and
to refrigerate the fishes it was necessary to use ice. Once broken in small
pieces a salesmen sold plates of
it to the saleswomen that used it during the whole morning.
Il pesce sempbrava freschissimo, e di fianco a sgombri,
tonnetti e calamari si trovavano specie che non avevo mai
visto in nessuna pescheria italiana.
The fish was extremely fresh, there
were mackerel, tuna fish, Squids and a lot of very strange species that
I never
saw anywhere else.
