The trip to Turkey has been my first long holiday trip with a motorcycle: my glorious Honda Transalp (August 1998)

Una vacanza diversa, tutta in moto, con un Honda xlv Transalp (c'erano anche Yamaha XT, BMW RT e GS,  Yamaha Thundercat, Honda Africa Twin), spostandosi quasi tutti i giorni, per 23 giorni..

In tutto 11 moto e 16 persone a zonzo per la Turchia, partendo da Brindisi, Igoumenitsa, Instanbul, una puntatina sul Mar Nero, la Cappadocia, la costa sud, lo stretto dei Dardanelli, ed infine di nuovo in Italia, con circa 9.000 Km in piu' sulla moto.... e la voglia di tornare. A different holiday, with motorbyke, with my Honda Transalp (and Yamaha XT, BMW RT and GS, Yamaha Thundercat, Honda Africa Twin), going from city to city almost every day, for 23 days.

There were 11 motorcycles and 16 people wandering around Turkey, leaving Italy from Brindisi, Then Igoumenitsa, Istanbul, the Black Sea, Cappadocia, the south coast, the Dardanelli, and then in Italy with something like 9000 Km more on our bykes and... the willing to come back, sooner or later.
