 | The badge
The badge of Paderno Dugnano presents the main qualities of the places belonging
to the local territory.
The shield, on a silver background, divies into three bends: in the superior one a
ribbon with three colours is linked to two laurel branches, in the central one there
is a castle with two towers, and there is also a little bucket referring to Calderari
family between them.
In 1683 Paderno, Incirano and Palazzolo were given as feuds to this family.
The low bend divides into two parts: the left one, with green and silver colours,
reminds to Dugnani family, who took possession of Dugnano in 1683.
The right one, with red and silver colours, refers to Imbonati.
Cassina Amata was given them in 1697.
At the top of the shield there is a civic crown and branches of oak and laurel.
