This power supply has been created in order to ensure the correct supply of energy for arc lamps. Based on PWM technology, this power supply is highly reliable and efficient and is relatively small and light. As the power supply also has high-voltage igniter and boost circuits incorporated, it can turn on the arc lamp autonomously. The output is completely isolated from the mains and is thus easier to use. Both input and output have built-in filters in order to deal with noise and to comply with EMI regulations.

PROTECTION FEATURES
Short circuit : The short circuit at output turns off the power supply without causing any damage.
Absence of load : If, for whatever reason, the arc lamp is absent or does not turn on, after four attempts the power supply turns off automatically.
Over heating - If, for some reason, there is a higher than usual temperature internally, there is a thermal protection which automatically switches the power supply off. After some time the power supply will switch itself on. The power supply will only stay on if the temperature returns to normal.
Mancanza di una o più fasi : If one or more of the mains conductors are missing, the power supply will switch itself off.
General ON/OFF switch : A magnetic thermic tripolar switch sections all the mains.
ON/OFF switch : A signal switch allows you to turn on or turn off the lamp.
LOCAL/REMOTE deviator switch : This allows the lamp to be turned on and to be controlled either from a remote interface or manually on the panel.
Output current : Using a multi-turn potentiometer it is possible to regulate (locally) the current in the lamp to a range of 5-25A (mod. ALS25/160) or 5-30A (mod. ALS30/170).
LCD : This indicates , via a commutator, the output tension, the output current or the output current which has already been established by the relevant potentiometer. It is also possible to have an indication of the temperature inside the power supply.
Commutator for LCD - Allows the LCD to be set up to display the four types of reading.
SIGNALS
Lamp on : A green light shows that the lamp has turned itself on using power from the power supply.
Anomaly in the turning-on process : A red light shows that in spite of four switching on attempts, the lamp still has not been turned on.
Mains presence : A red light shows the absence of one or more of the mains.
Overheating : A red light shows that thermal protection has been activated
