This is a no-profit association. In the ambit of entomological interest, it deals with Order Lepidoptera, in all aspects.

The Association has the purpose to provide the following:

a) an efficient exchange of information between members of Association;

b) the knowledge of biological and etological aspects of the various species by captive rearing or observations in the wild;

c) a constantly updated database for all members, on experiences and observations on lepidoptera;

d) a list of addresses, regularly updated, for the buying of entomological equipment for study;

e) the promotion of meetings, even by members request;

f) the development of projects for species conservation and territorial control.
