Mirko Morelli was born in Milan
on 1953.He is a figurative-landscape painter who succesfully
faces difficult themes, such as portraits and other "genres"
without any fear, always putting the artistic-pictorial quality
rather than the production quantity first.
Especially for this last exhibition, he
painted a series of small sights, almost little jewels, which
earned the great admiration of collectors.
Mirko Morelli began his career in the middle
of the seventhies and holding his first personal exhibition at
the gallery "Il Camino" (Milan, Italy) in 1981.
Much more followed in 1984, 1987 and 1990.
On this occasion Everardo Dalla Noce, a famous art critic, wrote:
"... a mist which wraps every corner, more often an empty
one, deliberately snow-white, because it is thr man who transform
the spell, who turnishes it... everithing is solitary and intimate,
everithing is acting for a natural story without any suspect,
any surprise... there is in him the measured strength of
the one who identifies himself in nature and is afraid to provoke
it".
During 1995Mirko Morelli took part in a
free painting contest and won the fist absolut award "Epifania".
You can find his works in the 1997 edition
of the "C.A.M." (Modern Art Catalogue) and in the Collector's
Diary 1997.
His last exhibitions held (1997-98) in
Milan and Padua (Italy) earned grat success.
