        Lo scopo di questo sito è di carattere promozionale e divulgativo, destinato a tutti gli amanti del "Presepio", anche i più accorti ed esigenti.

        The purpose of this site is of promotional and popular character, destined to all the lovers of the "Presepio", also the most aware and demanding.)

Profilo artistico

        Angelo Pizza, nativo di Amalfi e napoletano d'adozione, ha coltivato, fin da piccolo, la passione per l’arte presepiale, tramandatagli dalla nonna materna, che esprime mediante la realizzazione di minuziose scenografie (scogli) di varie dimensioni (da 10 a 100 cm. di altezza) e di pastori e finimenti, con utilizzo di tecniche tradizionali ed innovative.

        Laureato in Scienze sociali ed in Servizio sociale, ha approfondito, con paziente ricerca personale, gli aspetti storici, artistici, sociali del presepismo, che cerca di applicare alle sue opere.

        Accurato e particolareggiato, altresì, risulta l’abbigliamento, con stoffe ricercate, di pastori da 20/30/35 cm., stile ’700 - '800 napoletano, per la realizzazione dei quali si avvale della preziosa collaborazione dell’abile consorte Katia.

        Angelo e Katia aderiscono ad organizzazioni presepistiche, di respiro nazionale ed internazionale, e partecipano ad importanti mostre in molte città italiane.  

(Artistic profile 

        Angelo Pizza, native of Amalfi and Neapolitan of adoption, he has cultivated, since small, the passion for the art of the presepio, handed down him by the maternal grandmother, that expresses through the realization of minute scenographies (called rock-cliffs) of various dimensions (from 10 to 100 cms. of height) and of shepherds and sets, with use of traditional and innovative techniques.  

        Graduated in Social Sciences and in Social Service, he has deepened, with patient personal search, the historical aspects, artistic, social of the presepismo, that tries to apply to his works.  

        Accurate and detailed, the attire also, results, with sought after cloths, of shepherds from 20/30/35 cms., style '700 - '800 Neapolitan, for the realization of which it uses some precious collaboration of the skilled consort Katia.  

        Angelo and Katia stick to organizations of the lovers of the presepio, of national and international breath, and they participate to important shows in a lot of Italian cities. )
