Santa is coming! 
In Scandinavia Santa comes on the evening the 24th while the children are still up.
I think Scandinavia - it being so close to the North Pole - is where Santa starts his rounds.
And that's why he comes so early, of course...
We are sitting by the fire Sophe, Mr. Mobile (Sophe's toy) and I, waiting for Santa...
Albe: Look, Sophe Love! There's Santa with his sleigh!
Sophe: Where! Where!
Albe: Outside the window! Look!
Mr. Mobile: Lift me up so I can see!
Sophe: Oh! There's somebody at the door! Who can it be?
Albe: It's him!
Mr. Mobile: Who?!?
Sophe: Why - Santa, of course, you silly!
Santa: Ho ho ho! Are there any good kitties here?
Sophe: Me! Me! Me!
Albe: Me too! I'm the Cutest & the Coolest & the BEST!
Mr. Mobile: And me! I'm very good!
Sophe: But you are not a kitty, Mr. Mobile! Santa asked for kitties!
Santa: Ho ho ho! He'll get presents too! No worries!
But now I got to go on!
I'll return later tonight with
stuff for your stockings to open tomorrow!
Sophe: We'll have milk and cookies for you then!
Albe: Bye bye, Santa! Thanks for the gifts!
Albe: That sure was some nice gifts Santa brought!
Sophe: Of course you got a present, Mr. Mobile!

Mr. Mobile: Cool guy, that Santa! He gave
me a present too
although I'm no kitty, just a kitty toy!
Albe: Yeah, and there are more gifts for you under the Christmas tree!
Mr. Mobile: Really!?! That's great! Ehm... could we do this
Christmas thing
a little bit more often, you think?
Albe: Sure! In about a year we'll do it again!
Sophe: You're teasing my toy, Albe!
Albe: Well, let's do it the Italian way
then, and give away
presents on the 5th of January too!
Sophe and Mr. Mobile: Yes! Yes! Yes!
Albe: Hehehe! Now lets get to the job opening all those gifts!
Maybe you wonder why we celebrate Christmas
the Scandinavian way and open our presents on the 24th?
Well, it's because my mom is Norwegian and Sophe's mom is Swedish.
But since Sophe is from England and I am from Italy,
we celebrate a bit the English and the Italian way too!
