 I was born on July 10th, 1961 in Rome (Italy), zodiacal sign Cancer. Peculiarity: I really love collecting Barbie and dolls in general...
My friends know how strong is this passion I have since when I was a little kid, while who doesn't know me can undestand it reading this page. :)
I collect Barbie dolls and many others: Gene, Porcelain Dolls and contemporaneous artists' dolls like Hildegard Gunzel, Annette Himstedt, Philip Heat, Madame Alexander, Robert Tonner, ect ect...
But my main passion is for OOAK Barbies... I prefer them becouse they give me the emotion to be in front of a 'unique piece' the latest real incoffesable dream of every obsessed collector.
I love surfing Internet, my favourite resource, continuosly looking for new and 'old' talents in the OOAK world.
It's not difficult to be surprised every time in front of these miniature's masterpieces made with great talent and skill.
One of the reasons this site has been made for is just the need to give more shove to the activity and creativity of this exceprional people who does real 'little miracles' of metamorphose.
Using colors and paint brushes they are able to create a neverending variety of faces, changing a simple item made in million of pieces into something of rafined elegance, unique and precious for its lucky owner.
Obviously without forgetting the 'official' dolls produced by Mattel since they represent the milestones from where all can start collecting Barbie.
Coming back to me, here's some other curiosities: I'm 1.74m tall, brown eyes, quite pleasent features, a great liveliness and some self-irony and recklessness which help me along the way.
I really love, besides my husband and my children, good music, all arts and particularly I have an unrestrained and irretrievable passion for cinema: there's no film I'm not interested in, I watch and 'recover' even those everyone considers ugly.... Maybe I like to criticize thinking how I'd have shot them!
Yes, I admit it: I'd have liked to be a director, unfortunately (or luckily ;)) for Italian cinema I didn't realize this project.
