Erice

Ci sono luoghi in Sicilia dove il mito si intreccia con la storia e dove l’archeologia testimonia la vita di antichi popoli e civiltà. Sulla cima del monte San Giuliano, in splendida posizione panoramica su Trapani , in silenzio tra le nubi , posa la città di Erice. La città è cinta da mura ciclopiche di impianto elimo (VII sec. A.C.) ai cui vertici si collocano: il castello Normanno; il Duomo o Matrice (1314), il Quartiere Spagnolo. Il centro storico presenta un impianto urbanistico tipico medievale con piazzette, strade strette e sinuose nelle quali affacciano bellissimi cortili fioriti.

Erice

In Sicily there are places where myth and history are firmly joined together and archaeological remains attest to the previous existence of ancient peoples and civilizations.

On the top of Mount San Giuliano, among the silent clouds lies the town of Erice, overlooking Trapani from a superb scenic location. The town is surrounded by cyclopean walls of Elymian origin 8th century BC), at whose corners stand the Norman Castle, the Spanish quarter and the cathedral (dated 1314). The town planning  of Erice’s oldest part is primarily medieval in character, with little squares and narrow winding alleys opening onto lovely coutyards full of flowers.

La casa si trova immersa nel verde nel Comune di Erice in zona agricola, immediatamente periferica della città di Trapani, è ubicata in C.da Pegno alle falde del Monte Erice nel versante Sud in area collinare baricentrica così distinta: 1,5 Km dall’Autostrada “A29” PA-TP; 3 km dalla città di Trapani; 7 km. dalla cittadina medievale di Erice; 4km dalla riserva naturale delle saline; 20 km da Marsala e dalla Isola Fenicia-Punica di Mothia, 25 km da Segesta.

The house is found absorbed in the green in the Municipality of Erice in the agricultural zone, immediately peripheral of the city of TRAPANI, it is situated in C.da Pegno to the feet of the Erice Mountain   in  area hilly so separate in the centre: 1,5Kms from the motorway A29 PALERMO-TRAPANI ; 3kms from the city of TRAPANI, 7 Kms from the medieval town of Erice; 4km from the natural reserve of the salt pans; 20kms from Marsala and from the Island Fenicia-Punica of Mothia, 25kms from Segesta
