BIZZARRIE ARMONICHE
The ensemble Bizzarrie Armoniche,
which was only recently formed, brings several musicians together who intensely
studied the historical execution of
17th and 18th century music -on period instruments. All members of the group
take regularly part in concerts and festivals in Italy, Europe, United States,
Japan, South America and Australia, collaborating with various important
orchestras and chamber ensembles, and with soloists of international reputation.
The cd , in the year 2002, have been select and inserted in the Bookshop of the
Museum of Palazzo Venezia in Rome and the
Metropolitan Museum in New
York during
the exhibition of Orazio and Artemisia
Gentileschi.
Riccardo Masahide Minasi: is a regular member of Il
Giardino Armonico since
1999. He also played with the Concerto Italiano and took part in several
recordings for the Teldec,Opus 111 and EMI labels.
Stefano Barneschi: studied violin in Milan and has perfected his playing with
Gyorgy Sebok and Daniel Philips. Since 1991 he is a regular member of the
ensemble Il Giardino Armonico, in some productions, even as first
violino. He has made recordings for Teldec, Decca and Winter& Winter.
Elena Russo: studied violoncello at the Conservatory of Music of Milan and
subsequently she has participated in Master Classes held by Anner Bylsma and
Hidemi Suzuki. Since 1991 she plays with Il Giardino Armonico with whom
she has recorded for Teldec and Decca. In 2001 she established the ensemble
Bizzarrie Armoniche.
Giangiacomo Pinardi: has studied guitar and later on
has specialized himself in the study of old instruments. He is engaged as a
soloists in several ensembles among which Europa Galante.
Salvatore Carchiolo: studied under Bob van Asperen at the Sweelinck Consevatory
in Amsterdam, the Netherlands; where he received his diploma (uitvoerend musicus).
He has taken part -as soloist and basso continuo player- in various ensembles (o.a.Il
Giardino Armonico and the Concerto Italiano). Salvatore Carchiolo has
also been invited to hold classes on Basso Continuo playing at the consevatories
of Lausanne and Geneva.
