Buddha Postcards
Among
the services that offer free postcards to send to friends all around
the world, Rose and Peaches at http://www.roseandpeaches.com
stands out for its originality. It offers free, daily, colorful
Buddha cards built around an image of the Buddha and spiritual messages
like "Love is the candle that lets you see in the dark"
or "Between you and what is meant for you, there's only
time." Why the Buddha? Palma O'Sullivan, the site's
owner and artist, is not a buddhist, although she embraces the principles
of buddhist philosophy. "I chose the Buddha as a mere symbol
of universal values," she says. "The Buddha is
an invitation to go inside oneself and take responsibility for our
own reality. It's about developing love and compassion. I just wanted
to create some art using this concept."
Global
Group Mind Meditations
On
the second and fourth Sunday of every month, the World
Mind Society, a progressive no-profit organization for the
expansion of consciousness founded by Matthew Webb (click
here to read his article on BLISS), coordinates Global
Group Mind Meditations. "They represent a growing effort by
people around the world to focus their prayers and meditations together,
for the mutual expansion of consciousness," Webb says. "Through
this simultaneous focus, we are aligning our awareness together
on a psychic basis. Through this alignment our ever-expanding world
group is using INTENT, to elevate the spiritual intensity of all
involved. At the same time our Intent is also to uplift the World
Mind, or collective consciousness of humanity, and to heal the Earth,
(Gaia) of stresses and imbalances." This spiritual effort is
founded upon the Group Mind Principle, and other principles of Natural
Law. The Group Mind Principle states that, "the resulting force
generated from the combining of like minds, is geometrically greater
than the sum of its parts". To participate, just go to the WMS web
site, or e-mail to Matthew Webb visionquest@eoni.com

The
Secrets of Atlantis
Phoenix
Returns is the title of a very interesting and well written
book by the English medium Sheelagh Donnelly. It is a telepathic
transcription of the records of Atlantis, which have been stored
on the spiritual plane. According to the author, they are revealed
now to guide us through a period of dramatic change on our planet.
As the great psychic Edgar Cayce said in his readings, before
Atlantis was destroyed, the Records of its knowledge were preserved
for posterity and scattered around the world. The book claims to
contain the "master copy" of these Records, reuniting
the fragments of Atlantean knowledge, which have survived in myth
and architecture. It tells of hidden artefacts (also showing them
through the author's drawings) that, if found, should prove the
truth of the Atlantean legacy and its connections with Egypt. It
teaches the esoteric knowledge necessary for survival without technology,
and outlines both techniques for Earth healing and principles for
a spiritual understanding of the Universe. The book's web site at
http://www.atlantiswisdom.com
contains, among other things, pages written after the completion
of Phoenix Returns. The writings deal mainly with instructions
for the many healing and mediumistic groups already established
around the planet. There are also further revelations regarding
structures at the Giza plateau plus expansions on topics mentioned
in the book.
Beyond
Philanthropy: Responsible Wealth (source: Share
International Magazine)
American
activist Tracy Gary founded in Boston Responsible Wealth,
a new organization that encourages wealthy people to go beyond philanthropy
and work toward making changes in corporate and public policies
that disproportionately benefit the rich. Its 400 or so members
(the top five per cent of wealth holders in America, with more than
$650,000 in assets) hail from a variety of backgrounds and political
persuasions, yet they all are alarmed at the increasing concentration
of wealth in America - the top one per cent now controls more wealth
than the bottom 95 per cent — and they believe this vast inequality
threatens social cohesion and stability. Gary and co-chair of Responsible
Wealth Bob Burnett, a founder of the computer corporation Cisco
Systems, believe that developing a critical mass of wealthy people
who are aware of and concerned about social issues is a first step
toward creating real change. Economic inequality "is the great national
problem nobody talks about," said Burnett. With the chasm between
rich and poor growing ever wider, Burnett, Gary and other Responsible
Wealth members believe it is time to begin talking.
A
Look Within - Inspirations of Love - Here's a site that
offers free downloadable books by the late Indian spiritual master
Dadaji (1906-1992). Challenging old notions of spirituality
and religion, Dadaji (which means Elder Brother) reminds you God
is within, and therefore no guru can lead you to Him. Looking within
is easy and natural. You don't have to torture your mind or body
to find God. Just doing your best in your daily life is rough enough.
Sacred
Travel - If you would be interested in the possibility of
a spiritual retreat in Italy or in Indonesia, this site contains
useful information for you.
Liquid
Light Center - Check out this site for dream interpretations,
meditations techniques, spiritual counseling and more. It centers
around the work of Sharon Shane (click
here to read her article on BLISS), author of the inspiring
book In
the Garden of the Goddess, available through Amazon.com
by clicking on its title.
Planetary
Awakening Network
The
Planetary Awakening Network (PAN) was established in 1998 as an
international emergency alert system to link up world serves so
that we might work together to bring healing to world crisis situations.
Since that time it has become a major networking vehicle for those
who are working toward a more peaceful, just, prosperous and conscious
planet. The association now has over 550 independent internet based
networks in 47 countries and continues to grow steadily at the rate
of 15 to 20 a month. There is no cost and you can participate with
a network as small as five people. For more information, go to http://www.n2012.com/pan.htm
Clean,
free energy: Dream or Reality?
The
current rise in oil prices practically everywhere has made the issue
of alternative energy sources more topical than ever. Are they reliable
and affordable? Are scientists and governments conducting serious
research on them? If you want to find documented answers to these
questions, and to know more about cold fusion, hydrogen gas cells,
magnetic motors and other devices capable of producing energy without
polluting and depriving our planet, we invite you to visit Stephen
Kaplan's page at http://www.connexion.org/kaplan
. Throughout the Nineties Mr. Kaplan -- a member of the Catalyst
Institute, a newly formed non-profit organization that is supporting
scientists working on the frontiers of research concerning health
and the environment -- has been a strong and often ostracized advocate
of alternative energy sources, and he is currently working on new
energy research and development. The precious information he offers
here are intended to raise our awareness on the subject, so that
we can at least send our conscious energy to a dream worth dreaming
together.
God/dess's
Power
To
recognize the power of God/dess -- i.e. the feminine aspect of divinity
-- within all people, regardless of gender, color, politics or sexual
lifestyle. It is the declared purpose of The Fifth Goddess,
a website created around Staci Backauskas's (click here
to read her article) spiritual novel of the same title (click here
to order the book through Amazon.com), which is about four Goddesses
overseeing an ordinary woman's path of self discovery. In fact,
this interesting website does more than just promoting a book and
some related products. In it, you will find useful articles and
informations on the female side of spirituality, recommended weekly
rituals, Staci's inspiring weekly messages and even Goddess Trivia
Questions. You can visit it at http://www.fifthgoddess.com
.
A
World Network of Conscious Thinking
"No
one can deny that a network (a world network) of economic and psychic
affiliations is being woven at ever increasing speed which envelops
and constantly penetrates more deeply within each of us. With every
day that passes it becomes a little more impossible for us to act
or think otherwise than collectively," wrote Pierre Teilhard
de Chardin, the great French philosopher in his 1947 book The
Formation of the Noosphere.
Today,
a vision of the Noosphere as the emerging web of global consciousness
inspired Stephen Bate - a computer software engineer with
a profound interest in spirituality, who already created great New
Age sites like the famous Sun Angel Innovations - to dedicate
an entire links page of his new site Technoetic (http://www.technoetic.com)
to many articles related to the Noosphere and Teilhard de Chardin.
"In these articles - says Bate - "the conceptualization
of the Noosphere ranges from simply 'the Internet' and computing
technology... to Cyberspace... to the global mind... to next step
in humankind's and the Earth's evolution". Just follow the
links, for a mind-expanding cyber-reading experience.
