Our Purpose

The Power of Passion

by Russ Michael

A passionate "hymn to passion", in one's love life as in life in general, by a "specialist", an Austrian authour who is internationally known as "Mr. Soulmate". Let's heed his call...

When NASA sends up a rocket or the "Shuttle" you can be sure there is more than enough "thrust" or a power surge strong enough to lift it high into the blue heavens.

That is a great example of gigantic intensity! The passion or power being generated in the engines of these crafts at launch time is immense. The ground shakes and rumbles as the magnitude of power grows and grows -- and is finally so strong that the mighty power of earth gravity is broken!

This kind of passion works to accomplish seeming impossible achievements.

This kind of passion is what every god and goddess contains deep within them.

Thus when you release this incredible blast of energy, what can stand in your way? When you become passionate about anything you magnify or give added zest or life to it.

Your quest for a Soulmate can be peaceful and serene also. That certainly does not indicate any lack of passion! Passion comes from within -- not from violent, frantic exterior action. The "outer" explosion of events takes place when the inner passion grows so great that the Universe rushes in to fulfill that tremendous "longing."

It is not the bluster and the "bark", or hyper active or windmill motion that changes worlds. It is the subtle, deep inner longing or desire that grows so powerful that nothing can withstand it. The gravity or "lock" of the old is broken, and the new world suddenly appears! That is what passion accomplishes.

After my very real and very conscious "death experience" at age 18, I suddenly valued life with a great passion! From that first day of my successful "return" to a very dead body, I knew the priceless value of each precious moment of life.

Passion has been my key-note or tone through my ongoing days or decades.

What is yours?

If you are not "with it" or passionate about what you are thinking, doing, feeling, or dreaming -- why are you doing it?

Your tendency may be to avoid such a direct confrontation with your self. Yet, only you can know what or how you think or feel about any one thing you are experiencing!

Only you can make a decision to follow only what feels good -- thus to always live "the good life!" I am doing it. Many, many other of my beloved human brothers and sisters -- conscious gods and goddesses -- are doing it! You can do it too! Resolve to do only what feels good right now, this moment.

It might feel uncomfortable at the start -- for you will be bucking the First Commandment of "social consciousness" as my good friend Sai Grafio humorously states, "Thou shalt not buck!" But who cares? The "mob" does not rule you, unless you allow it. Be the goddess or god that you are!

This is no license to quit your marriage or quit your job on the spot! But it does mean -- make the job or the marriage feel good, and be good, or else a change of jobs or a change of partners is necessary. You have not only the right but, as a conscious human goddess or god, the obligation to your divine human self to always feel good!

How can you feel, express or build passion unless you feel good about it? If the thought or image of being with your Soulmate feels good, you can be quite passionate about it.

When you are intense, you are strongly focussed! And focus is everything!

As the great Master teacher Ramtha would repeat again and again to his mass of "hands-on" students, "You are what you focus on!"

Your mind can enlarge or magnify, and it can concentrate or focus so that the "heat of intent" becomes an awesome, sheer overwhelming passion! The third grand function of the mind is its ability to "decenter" -- to move your whole conscious identity back into that gentle, gentle central core or kernel of your deep spiritual being. That is the how and why of meditation, of how it works.

Like anything else in life, you can develop passion or self-intensity. When you do so, you automatically become more dynamic -- thus a more powerful "presence." Your Soulmate will like that and you will like that in your Soulmate too, since you mirror each other so perfectly!

Life truly is fun -- and a "good life" is filled with fun and passion.

Enjoy it!
