Namibia

Namibia, it was the first time for me in Africa: a 21-days and 10.000 Km trip among amazing landscapes and wondeful animals.

From soutern Fish River Canyon (the second biggest on heart) to Namib desert (where you can find the highest duns on the planet), from Etosha National Park at the border with Angola to Waterberg plateau, form desert elephant in Etosha to penguins in Lüderitz, form diamond gohst town of Kolmanskop to the skycrapers in Whindoek (Namibia's capital).

Of course, I got the so called Africa-sikness.

Myself climbing on a dune.

It seems easy, but, actually, it's a hard work.

Expecially for a couch potato like myself.

Sunset at Sossusvlei.

The word means 'seven straps' as bushmans and trekkers needed 7 coache's straps or belts binded togheter to reach water at the bottom of the well.

A mama Orix.

The living symbol of survival in the desert.

Another inhabitant of the bushes; this time is a male Impala.

This picture has been actually taken in Kruger National Park, South Africa. In fact this animal lives in the western part of the continent.
