The harpsichord is a very special musical instrument; its sound and its smart and elegant look make of it a particularly interesting object. The ancient masters made high quality instruments which nowadays we can still admire in museums and private collections. The preserved instruments are surely the most beautyfull and/or the luckiest: but certainly we are amazed at their quality and balance. My approach to this noble instrument construction is intended to give it, if still possible, a modern interpretation exploring new creative ways. The desire of experimenting and inventing "something new" gives life to my search, in the belief that even the ancient makers had the same wish. And so the birth of original instruments that, though using historical techniques and purposes, emulate the search and inventive spirit of the ancient masters.
