La follia
Uragano, abisso, lampo, nero.
The folly
Hurricane, abyss lightning and black. A lone woman thinks about what [she is and of what has done
Neither space nor time exist, everthing is void. She tips off her clothes and pulls out her hair.
Darkness enters in her mind and she doesn’t know. Nothing anymore: who is it and what it wants?
Past, present and future do not exist anymore, for her. There is nothing left to hold on to for her anything; only a void pervades her.
She doesn’t think anymore, doesn’t want anymore, doesn’t love anymore; all that remainins is her folly.
The snow
The snow so white so soft it mirrors the white timidness of the sky. And in the whiteness of it I see joy and I feel as a prisoner inside a cage in a glade from which is difficult to escape.
Topaz
Topaz, emerald, ruby stones as precious as your eyes; shining stars, resonant echos and your high voice spreads like fog, lightly dusting the grass of the green lawn, the same green of your beautiful eyes.
Lightning, ashes, moonlight; under the light of the sun I want to tell you the truth that is subject to my lips between my tongue, oh blessed woman, perhaps your indolence isn’t, necessary to tell me who you are? (Trad. inglese di Alfredo Varriale) |
