How to reach Chiesa Nuova

The Chiesa Nuova is found in the heart of the historic center of Rome, ideally situated at the crossroads of the great archeological areas and the places most. sacred to Christianity. Located in the Piazza Chiesa Nuova, on the Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, the church is midway between St. Peter's Basilica and Piazza Venezia. Close by are the Piazza Navona and Castel S. Angelo.



The church can be easily reached using public transportation. The church can be reached by buses 46, 62, and 64 (the bus which connects St. Peter's to Termini Railway Station).

The Church is open every day of the year

from  8:00  a.m.  to   12:00 p.m.


from 4:30 p.m.  to 7:00 p.m.

Mass hours are:

Weekdays and Saturday:          8 a.m. - 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. (6:30 p.m. in winter)

Sundays:                                  8:30 a.m. - 10  a.m. - 11  a.m. - 12 noon - 12:45  p.m. - 7 p.m. (6:30 p.m. in winter)
