FROM 1991 TO 2000
The
"Clonard Tourist System", which has its operating base in Anzio, is
the result of analysis of sources and statistics over many years that measure
international tourist demand and supply, in which an awareness has grown of the
gap of knowledge about the real dynamics of international tourist movements.
From this
need was born a meticulous gathering from all sources that through various
methodologies, estimate the tourist phenomenon in two directions, that of the
destination of movement and that of its origin.
The
system, completed in 4 years, represents a world wide calculation of movement
ORIGIN - DESTINATION handily computerised using a simple and effective software
tool that responds to the need of obtaining homogeneous and in some way
comparable data on at least one point: "The number of international
tourists".
Currently
the "Clonard Tourist System" project has incorporated the outgoing of
39 tourism generating countries (included Italy), that represent over 95% of
international demand and the relative incoming of 173 countries of destination.
The data
for 39 countries of origin and 173 countries of destination is available from
1991 to 1998 with projections up to the year 2000 using alternatively for each
single element, linear, polynominal, logarithmic and exponential equations.
The
details are normally supplied in English with documentational support and
floppy disk in Excel 97 as in the following structure.
The
"Clonard Tourist System" is the result of a large effort in search of
supplying an image of international tourism in which all of the frames are in
the same scale.
