Welcome!
My nickname is I-GINO, and I am an aviation enthusiast living in Rome, Italy. The
purpose of this site is to share the view of my best shooted aviation images with
people who love aviation world as me. Here you can find my photo reportage of the
2000 Farnborough Air Show in UK, and some other photos I took during 1998 Pratica di
Mare Air Show in Italy. In addition you can find a 55 seconds video clip of the Suckoi 37, the Russian thrust
vector control fighter demonstrator I filmed during its flight exibithion at Le
Bourget 1997 Air Show. Photos at Farnborough were taken with a Nikon Coolpix 950
digital camera at a resolution of 1600x1200 pixels, then resampled at a 800x600
pixels (average) for web purposes. Pratica's photos were taken with a Casio QV100 digital
camera at 640x480 pixels resolution. Video clip was filmed with a Sony 8mm video-camera, then digitalized. For every section (civil and military, static and flight exibithions) a simple dual-frame interface allows to browse images thumbnails, and view the selected image at full resolution.

The image above is my grandfather aviator's eagle, over Alps background. He was an observer pilot in the Italian Army during the First World War. His name was Gino Suatoni. |
