Franca Matelli - guitar and voice
A conservatory graduate in classical guitar, she has enjoyed playing Celtic music for many years. She now juggles teaching the instrument with a hectic performance schedule which includes classical exhibitions as well as her work with the Kyle-Na-No. She lives in Asti and shares her home with a cat, a dog and a chinchilla.
Valerie Beavers - harp, voice and bodhrán
A native of the Appalachian mountains in East Tennessee she has long been interested in Irish Celtic culture, particularly with regard to its influence on Appalachian customs. In addition to the harp, she enjoys playing the dulcimer and guitar.
Roberta Tuis - violin, voice
A violinist since childhood, she combines intense feeling and precision with a magnetic stage presence. She founded the group after years of previous experience as the violinist of two well-known folk groups: the Archensiel and La Ghironda.
Roberto Musso - bass and percussions
A "life of the party" type, he animates the atmosphere insuring that both the public and the band have a good time. As a percussionist he makes creative use of a variety of instruments he has collected from around the world.
Ciarán Ó Bréartúin - feadóg, keyboards and voice
A native of Dublin he has a masters degree in electrical engineering and is a conservatory graduate in piano. Irish is his mother tongue but he also speaks fluently several foreign languages.
Vincenzo "Piuma" Penna - mixer
A radiologist, part-time farmer and father by profession he is the band's indispensable sound engineer accompanying it on tour as well.
