| The first real instrument comparable
to the present ones, as for the conception, the shapes and the use, can be dated to the
evoluted civilisation of the Nuraghe.
Right during this period, thanks to an intense extraction of metals, ductile to fire, more functional and relatively easy to work, the
research of new manufacturing technologies permits the ancient inhabitants of Sardinia to master the new and powerful arm for
common, religious (in the cerimonies of sacrifice) use, and also for offense.
