Ugljan is between Zadar - to which is daily connected with liners (every day - every hour) - and Dugi Otok, and is connected in its south part by a bridge at the island Pasman. Kukljica - one of the biggest town in the island - is 1 Km far from the channel that separate Ugljan from Pasman. Placed in a beatiful inlet closed by the promontory "Zelena punta", it has different shops and restaurants, a little toiuristic village with disco, tennis, a little equiped harbour, medical assistance, telephone and post office. On Kukljica there are three charming besches: Kostanj (rocky) - turned to the mainland - Sabusa (sand and beneficial mud) and Jelenica (sand) - turned to Dugi Otok. Muds of Sabusa are special beneficial for rheumatism, while Jelenica is a naturist beach.
