45 YEARS OF RESEARCH

1952 Two american biologysts, Robert Briggs et Thomas King, install nucleos of frog  embryonal cells in oocytes. They get tadpoles.

1970 Gordon manages to install nucleos and get tadpoles from ordinary cells (no sexuals or embryonal cells).

1979 First effort of cloning Humans. The new embryo died after a few divisions.

1993 American researchers led genetical experiments on cells destined to die.

1997 Ian Wilmut gets for the first time a sheep clone from adult cells.

 1997 Wilmut outdoes himself. He clones Potty, the first clone of a clone.
