January 9, 2004: The ancient harbour of Neapolis (2nd century after Christ) has been
re-descovered thanks to works for station
Municipio of
Linea 1.
Among many other things, archaeologists have found a 13-metre long boat,
vases coming from Middle East, amphoras filled with oil, wine and perfumes.
The Museum of History of the City should be placed in the station
Municipio.
