DOOMSWORD (25/12/99): Badly that in Italy they are
still there people that believe really to the Metal and they try everything for
that it keeps on living the more possible, besides transmitting him/it for
radio they also play it with these grandiose DoomSword and with the Fiurach.
This is not alone the 99 best Italian exit, but for me it is the best world
disk of this year characterized by as exits record some of immense value
others mixed of disappointments and confirmations on you work not too much
convincing or not at all Metal. Already from opener 'Sacred Metal' it is
realized how much honesty there can be in this true artistic masterpiece,
where the influences of other band, that is so many (Candlemass,Cirith ungol
and who has of it more puts of it), they don't lower the elevated value of
this job. The love for Elric Melnibonč is great and is the principal theme of
all the songs even if in some envoy doesn't come in directly cause.
'Warbringer' a song of war is stately unbeatable and immortal medioevale,
'Helms deep' a song doom and more epic in the respect of the canons more
Heavy Metal possible and 'One eyed god' that even though the least beautiful
one doesn't allow to shine through nothing, but because I am forced to find
the defect of such a perfect disk. CelticWolf |
