HISTORY
|
The history of this band, that their maximum
success is seeing in the years 90 must be sought in the first years of the
instead '80 when the vocal Chris Boltendahl and the other components have
decided to form a band of Heavy metal on the wake of other band of Speed n'
Power Metal German of that period among which Accept (many have attributed
the way of singing of Chris with that of Udo), Running Wild and Rage. The
myth Digger was officially born with the single one of debut and the
historian HM Breakdown and as with other grandiose albums that have made of
this band, for me very underestimated, a part of history of the German metal,
that unlike that English is more alive and impassioned and that it doesn't
owe anything to the fashions of the corresponding period. Later 'Stronger
than ever' simply gone out that is also with a different monicker Digger, the
void, the band disappears and only Chris makes today part of that band that
that sharp riffs have given birth in the years '80. The albums of the decade
'90 are characterized by the same distorted guitars and aggressive of which
the Digger were able in past but the songs play more melodic and direct and
the treated themes are more parish priests and they treat of histories, wars
and events of the big historical period of the medieval. |
