„Entrepreneurship made by women / networks"

The main aim of the workshop was to show experience, problems and needed actions from working with business women. Especially the theme of networking should be discussed to develop chances of female business starters and entrepreneurs to support their entrepreneurial activities by using strategic networks.

At the beginning of the workshop the offers of „Initiative Frau und Arbeit" Salzburg for female business starters and young entrepreneurs were presented. Main point of these offers is networking. Following the workshop participants worked together to answer the question „Why do female business starters need support by networking and on the way to working networks? – position at the outset of female business starters and resulting problems". In the third part of the workshop participants discussed about the question „What can be the aim and the networking instruments to support business activities of female business starters?"

 

The collected judgements of the participants concerning the position at the outset, the consequences, aims and instruments of networking are shown on the following tables. Moderation cards were used for collecting and presentation of the judgements.

The following needed actions for a better support of female business starters and entrepreneurs were chosen for being presented on the panel discussion:
