Studies

18 December 2000	Degree in Materials Engineering at Ferrara University. My graduation thesis concerns "Experimental Determination of Elastic Constants and Strength of Composite Materials for Civil Structures Consolidation". Final mark: 103/110.
1988	General Certificate of Education granted by "Gregorio Ricci Curbastro Science High School", in Lugo (Ravenna - Italy). Final mark: 50/60.

Foreign languages

Good knowledge of spoken and written English.

In August 1994 I attended a summer course of English at "St. Giles Colleges - London Central", in the high intermediate level class.

Information technologies

My knowledge comes from university courses and personal experience and interests.

Operative Systems: very good knowledge of DOS, Windows 98, Windows 2000, good knowledge of Macintosh environment.

Fundamentals of programming languages: Fortran, Pascal.

Software: good knowledge of Word, Excel, Access; almost good knowledge of Autocad, Inventor and SolidEdge; some experience with FEM codes (Microsafe) and with the programming environment Labview.

Very good knowledge of Internet.

Professional experiences

December 99 – December 00	Done a research work for my graduation thesis at Materials Science Laboratory of Ferrara University, in collaboration with Engineering Department of Constructions Science and Technologies.
April 99 – February 00	Collaboration as systems engineer (installer) with Sidi Tecnomatica Srl, a society based in Milan which operates in the IT and Remote Banking sector.
April 97 – February 98	Compulsory service, as secretary collaborator at Caritas Ravenna.

Other informations

I am willing to move or travel both in Italy and abroad.
I have got a driving licence, cat. B, and a car of my own.

Professional interests and expectations

I am very interested in new advanced technologies, as those using composite materials, and in research. An ideal job should improve my professional skills in time.

Other interests

Some of my hobbies are sailing, scuba diving, photography and model aircraft flying (constructing and assembling dynamic aircraft models).
