"CINEMA MY LOVE"

The main scope of the Cultural Association Nuovarmonia (Association) is to promote the promulgation of the music of composers that, through various languages, were able to render the musical message more interesting and comprehensible.

In fact the main reason behind the proposal "CINEMA MY LOVE" is to pay a tribute to the two greatest italian composers of music for films: Ennio Morricone and Nino Rota. Morricone and Rota are known throughout the world for the music that have animated many film of likewise famous film directors such as Visconti, Fellini, Leone, Petri, Lattuada, De Filippo, Patroni-Griffi, Tornatore, De Palma, Coppola and others.

The Ensemble Cameristico Nuovarmonia (Ensemble) is born within the Cultural Association itself and re-proposes with a chamber music background (driven by the musical background of its components) the most significant themes of the music for film created by Morricone and Rota.

The promulgation effort, that the Association promotes, focuses on reaching a wider public and in particular those Italian institutions abroad that have as a common feature, the promulgation of Italian culture, in all its different components. To promote Italian culture is also the main objective of the proposal "CINEMA MY LOVE".

The music, written for films, is brought back to life in an autonomous context as it is separated from the images, and is made unique by the very original orchestrations designed for a very original orchestra which comprehends flute, oboe, clarinet, basset horn and trombone, contrabass and percussions.

This proposal, which is directed in particular to Italian Cultural Institutes abroad, is based on the same basic principle as the Ministry for Foreign Affairs: cultural co-operation.

Italian Cultural Institutes abroad are learning, information and "cultural mixing" centres.
