"A LATIN-AMERICAN PASSION"

Always close to the South-American culture, the Ensemble Nuovarmonia, intends to present, by this specific program, to the wide audience of classical music, a not very well-known and hardly ever played repertoire.

In fact, whereas Astor Piazzolla is becoming more and more popular in the last few years, due to the interpretations of exceptional artists, such as Gidon Kremer and YoYo Ma, on the contrary the production of many composers who had less divulgation than the Argentinean great composer in Occident is not so much well-known.

The attention is just directed towards these composers. The pages of Jobim, Bragato, Romero, Gismonti, Binelli, Plaza, Revueltas, reworked out by arrangements consistent with the expressive timbric spectre of the group, without transcending the original composer will, gain a tipical european touch, without forgetting the clear popular matrix who generated them.
