Europaca is located 1 ½ hours North of Rome and 1 ½ hours South-West
of Florence in the Maremma region of Tuscany. The closest city to our farm is Grosseto
which can easily be reached from the Aurelia highway that runs North-South through
Italy.
Whether you are coming from the North or South, on the highway Aurelia
, you must take the Grosseto Sud exit. Follow signs indicating Istia
dOmbrone & Scansano until you reach a fork in the road (from point
A to point B: 2,6 Km). The road to the
right goes to Poggio La Mozza which is a small, unmarked, grouping of about
five houses (from point B to C: 4,3 Km). Immediately after leaving Poggio La Mozza, you will see
Europacas black mailbox and road sign at the beginning of a dirt road to the
right (GPS point N 42° 43.622' E 011° 11.753).
On the right you will also see a red brick electrical tower. Follow this road and take the
first dirt driveway on your right (GPS point N 42° 43.442' E 011° 11.792'), up a hill, that will bring you to Podere Val di Toro,
home of Europaca (GPS point N 42° 43.311 E 011° 11.742).

Local Sights
Grosseto is a small town located in the Southern part of Tuscany, known as
Maremma. It is located 1 1/2 hours North of Rome and 1 1/2 hours South West of
Florence and Sienna. Grosseto has an attractive medieval downtown surrounded by old
walls that enclose the older buildings. The surrounding area provides a typical
Tuscan landscape of olive groves and vineyards but is also known for its beautiful beaches
and natural parks. The Maremma region provides innumerable opportunities to enjoy
nature, beautiful architecture, ancient hotsprings, Etruscan archaeological sites and, of
course, good Italian cuisine. For further information on local sights, please visit
