Casa
Angeletti is a historical building (1750), which has been
completely modernized in 1990. It is located on the foot of Monte Baldo,
in the hinterland of the Garda Lake. The house is situated toward south
on a slope protected in the back from the mountains, with a beautiful
view on a hilly country and the plain toward the lake. The
landscape is impressed by cypress trees, wine yards and olive groves,
which are also the typical products of this area.Casa Angeletti consists
of four apartment houses with separate entrances, situated around a
central yard.
In
2003 we decided to let tow of the four apartments to holiday guests.
The
dwellings are furnished in a modern and comfortable way, always keeping
their ancient charm. A beautiful garden invites you to relax. Enjoy the
evenings cooking on the outdoor barbeque, with the setting sun on the
Monte Baldo.
The
history of the house
This
rural messuage was built in the 17. century by the owner of a marble
quarry.
These
small, ancient quarries are abandoned already for a long time since
there was no more marble to work. In the meanwhile the area became a
wild-life reserve where you can admire a unique flora during spring and
summer.
During
the Napoleoni wars ( Napoleon struck his last battle in Italy in Rivoli,
a smal village near Lubiara) the house was occasionally occupied by
French soldiers.
In
the 20. century the first country doctor used part of the house as
practice while the inner court was used by the parson as a freilichtkino.
Easy
access to
Garda
Lake (12 Km), Verona (27 Km), Mantova (60 Km), Venice (120 Km), Milan
(140 Km).

Angeletti is a historical building. The apartment houses are
situated around a central yard and have all access to the well cultivated
garden.
Beautiful
living rooms, well equipped kitchens with open fireplaces and everything
that makes you feel comfortable.
