In
this deportment, the following procedures ore carried out:
- Inertising the tanks on the truck, removal of the cylinders from
the truck, internal rinsing with water and steam at a pressure of
200 bar, weighing of the cylinders, recording of the identification
data on the cylinders, hydraulic test, exhausting of the gas from
the cylinders, internal visual inspection with an optic fibre system,
drying of the inside of the cylinders, ultrasonic and thickness
test, Brinnel hardness test according to Ministerial Decree and
blasting of the outside of the cylinders and visual inspection for
possible imperfections.
The cylinders are then painted after being dried with hot N2.
Next, the tank transport truck and all accessories are assembled,
and a leak test is performed (which lasts far 24 hours after test
pressure is reached) bath an the cylinders and on the system.
After the test has been completed, the pressure inside the cylinders
is dropped to a residual value ranging from 2 to 3 bar.
