The
spelaeology
At the beginning
caverns were used as protection place by prehistoric populations, after
many centuries their interest and use faded away although they continued
to excite charm and mystery on people. After starting scientific studies,
the caverns returned to interest studious and curiouses, so the first real
cave explorations and research became after middle 1800. Later cavers reached
considerable deepness thanks to sciences evolution and best exploring materials.
Nowadays the charming and mysterious underground adventure proceed
out to discover new magnify sensations. Anyway spelaelogy is not only exploring,
others interesting and important aspects are involved in it, as well as
protection of fragile underground water circulation systems: the
waters that we are going to drink...! |
