The
“Valle di Rezzalo” is travelled over its lenght
by a military road built during the First World War (1915-18); it has
been recently restored and it can be easily traversed as far as the last huts
beyond Clevio, in the place called TEGIACCE.
After
a quarter of an hour walking on foot from Fumero, you can find the huts of
PONTELA on the left (m 1634), one of the most caracteristic and
suggestive place of the valley.
The
mule track borders on the left side the river “Rezzalasco” and ascends
leaving the hut of TEAT (m1795) and SALINE (m1830) on the right, as far as it
reaches S.BERNARDO (m1851) with a small church and some huts here and there
among woods of larch and old mountain pastures. Going over Ronzon, the valley
seems to be closed by a rocky terrace deeply carved by the river, on which there
are the huts of CLEVIO and CLEVACCIO (m2142). Here
there is one of the most interesting view over the whole Valley. From
here you go on towards LE TEGIACCE (m 2200), where the way stops and it is
replaced by a track that brings you in about 30 minutes to the PASSO DELL’ALPE
(M 2461).
