Francesco Di Pastena was born in Castelforte(LT) on 31 october 1961. Since he was a child,
he has always loved drawing landscapes and human figures. He graduated in
Architecture at the University of Rome, La Sapienza. For some years he has
been devoting himself to drawing
and painting with enthusiasm, his art is genuinely figurative, drawing
inspiration from the great artists of the XIX century.
He lives and works in Castelforte, an ancient medieval village on the banks of the river
Garigliano,
in the sunny Riviera di Ulisse.
His works are present in many private collections in Italy, Europe,
U.S.A. and Australia.
In the following pages we are going to show some of his paintings
and drawings.
